Antonio Moya Latorre
I am a musician and an architect from Valencia (Spain) who became an urban planner. Thanks to the La Caixa fellowship program, I pursued the Master in City Planning at MIT DUSP.
As an architect, I co-founded an urban collective in Spain to focus on participatory design projects, and I have worked in different urban and community planning processes in Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil. As a musician, I regularly perform piano recitals in Spain, Mexico, and the US.
As an urban planner, I explore how a culture-oriented approach to the planning practice can contribute to building fairer social systems and spark well-being and equitable human flourishing among the oppressed. I recently work at MIT CoLab and Presencing Institute.
I am currently a PhD student in City and Regional Planning at Cornell University.
